Michael Bungay Stanier, or MBS as he is also known, is the author of seven books which between them have sold over a million copies. He’s best known for The Coaching Habit, the best-selling coaching book of the century and already recognized as a classic.
His new book, ‘How to Begin’, helps people be more ambitious for themselves and for the world. Michael was a Rhodes Scholar and plays the ukulele “badly” – his words, not mine!
In this episode I was able to explore some of the ideas from his latest book that really resonated with me, and that I think will be useful for you. We also spent a lot of time talking about his journey of stepping down as CEO of the company he founded, and handing over the reins to his successor. If you’re thinking of handing over your business, or you’re about to come in as CEO and take over from a founder, then this episode is going to be invaluable.
